30 Days of Night

I recently watched Josh's 30 day of Night film. I enjoyed the film very much for it was a bit different for Josh. I think he could stretch himself a bit more as an actor. This was the first film where he carries a gun, and fight the bad guys. Usually his films are romantic comedies with the exception of Pearl Harbor, and I beleive Black Hawk
dawn.

I would love to see Josh do a really mean role; a psychotic killer, a super hero, or a kick ass detective. It is very easy for an actor to become type cast, and Josh has so much more to offer acting beside not knowing which girl he loves.

He is not a God; he is a human being like you and me, he should be happy that someone appreciates his films. I would. Believe me there are a lot of people that he comes into contact with; too bad we have not been among the lucky few. Go to his favortie pub in Soho or restaurant, and there he is......... Was not a miracle, just life and living.

Comment by Olivier on September 24, 2009 at 12:05pm: The only slight problem I can see is that Josh has fans all over the world. I'm based in France. And even his US fans don't all live in NY. What we could try to do through his publicist is to have him chatting with us for let's say 1 hour on Absolute Josh Hartnett. That's would be terrific.

I agree with you on the fact Josh's performance in 30 days of night demonstrate he has so much more to offer as an actor. He did carry guns in a lot of movies actually. He was even a hitman in LNS and Sin City. He was also an absolute vilain in O. I like also the character of Zeke he plays in The Faculty, a lonely rebel but fragile teenager. I expect a good suprise from ICWTR. And from Bunraku in which he is supposed to perform some kung-fu. The haters say he is wooden. It will be a good opportunity for him to show he know how to engage his body to enhance his acting.
