ICWTR'S KOREAN PREMIERE MAY TURN TO BE AS TOP SECRET AS THE WORLD PREMIERE ???

Remember ICWTR world premiere in Japan ? It was held on May 27th, 2009 in Tokyo. We eventually managed to catch up with some fans pictures and that was it. That was it. Well the same phenomenon may happen again in Korea.
PIFF 2009 organisers have issued 'strange' guidelines regarding the press coverage of the Gala Presentation Films :

1) Photo time for the directors and actors/actresses participating in Gala Presentation will take place at the designated photo zone at Shinsegae Centumcity (in front of GATE 3).

2) Press is advised NOT TO COVER the Guest Visits of the following Gala Presentation films

Well there will be pictures. The PR agency has arranged 'official' photoshoots but it will never be as efficient than spontaneous press coverage. If you frustrate the press, they just boycott you. What the point to present a film at a festival if it is to avoid the media that the festivals organisers thrive so hard to attract to their events. It is very simple : no media coverage = no sponsors.
I do understand why major festivals pass on ICWTR. They have the choice to select between so many movies, so if the management agencies of the Asian stars warn them they can't allow the press to take pictures of the actors ... End of the game.

No, & yes I do believe it, we are very lucky to have the freedom of choices that we have, not everyone is that luxury! I'm glad you have knowledge of this contract...it was driving me crazy wondering if I had imagined it!
Next time don't laugh at me when I say we might not get too many pictures! Sad!

It is Kimura. He even had to ask his management company the exclusive permission to get married, can you believe it ?

I read somewhere once (in the middle of the night) & I can't remember if it was either Lee or Kimura, has a very strict picture taking contract with their country...I've never been able to find it again.
