ICWTR : DISTRIBUTION DEAL SEALED FOR HUNGARY

The distributor Budapest Film has picked up the rights of 'I Come With The Rain' for Hungary. It seems that the fact that Josh's atmospheric thriller was screened at the sixth Karlovy Vary Fresh Film Fest (Czech Republic) last August has borne its fruits !

Budapest Film was founded 22 years ago, and it is now the leading independent distributor in Hungary focusing mainly on distributing European and domestic titles, releasing about 25-35 titles a year theatrically. Budapest Film captures 5-10% of the theatrical distribution market, and about 7% of the home entertainment market yearly. Budapest Film owns one multiplex cinema in Budapest and an art-house cinema network which consists of three cinemas with ten screens. In June 2007, Budapest Film launched its own internet based VOD platform (www.filmklik.hu), the first of its kind in Hungary. The VOD platform gained support from the Media Programme to establish further platforms throughout Eastern Europe.
